Developers • Build Release 10.0.2.GA.0001 myself - some questions about upgrading and security

Hi folks,
I finally managed to build 10.0.2 and have some weird questions perhaps.

I used https://github.com/zimbra/zm-build

Should I better use the "develop" branch to be up to date, (from security-fixes-view) or should I stick to the tags I can choose and use the latest version available? (I even wonder now how I get the 10.0.2, as there is no 10.0.2 available today?!)

Which of the 10.x version is the latest on the above mentioned github repo (this is very unclear to me, to be honest).

Are these versions secure? Better asked: What can I do to improve security? Lets say 10.0.3, 10.0.4 etc. comes out. Will I always have to rebuild binaries and then install it via ./install to be secure and get all security-fixes of zimbra, or is there another way to go?

If

Code:

zmcontrol -v
says I have
Release 10.0.2.GA.0001.UBUNTU20.64 UBUNTU20_64 FOSS edition.

Do I really have got this version, or is this description just coming from the parametes I gave the build-script?

And finally:
During the upgrade process of the latest zimbra 8.x.x I skipped NG-check, cause the upgrade was not possible not skipping it. I have to say that this is a server for only one person (me) and I had very little data on it.

So: What is the impact of skipping this check? (I know that the NG Modules cannot be migrated -- but what are those NG modules? Are they critical for Zimbra to work as expected?)

Perhaps to shorten things:
If I look at https://github.com/Zimbra/zm-build/ there is a develop branch, lots of bugfixes, some weird ZCS-xxxxx things and some -for me- readable versions, like: 10.0.0_ZCS-12642.

When browsing the tags, there are several others too. Latest 10.0.x is the 10.0.1 there and some (for me) weird ZCS-things like ZCS-11132

So what is the latest stable of 10.0.x (FOSS) on github?

Is it the 10.0.0_ZCS-12642?

Thank you very much!
